Setting Up the Ticket System

What is This?

A user support system: users create private ticket channels by clicking buttons on interactive panels, and staff handle inquiries. Ideal for complaints, leadership questions, recruitment, and private correspondence. Tickets feature:
  • Support Roles — users who can see and respond within tickets;
  • Transcripts — upon closure, the bot saves chat logs (HTML export or video) into designated log channels;
  • Visual Panel Builder — build modular ticket panels with zero code directly in Discord.

How to Configure

  1. Open /configure → navigate to the “Ticket Settings” page.
  2. Enable the module: set status menu to “Enabled”.
  3. Click “Go to Setup”.

Roles and Access

The “Ticket Permissions and Access Settings” page provides four role selector menus:
  • “Ticket Config Roles” — who can modify ticket settings;
  • “Ticket Creation Roles” — who can open tickets;
  • “Staff Roles” — who provides support and handles tickets;
  • “Claim Roles” — who can claim tickets into active handling.

Channels and Categories

The “Channel and Category Settings” page:
  • Transcript Log Channel — destination for HTML export files upon ticket close;
  • Video Transcript Channel — destination for video transcript recordings;
  • Ticket Category — Discord category where newly opened ticket channels will be created.

Ticket Panels

The “Ticket Panels” page:
  • “Configure Panel List” — create panels (name + Discord category), up to 25 panels;
  • each panel supports customized parameters: support roles, post-claim roles, ping roles;
  • “Configure Ticket Limit” — limit concurrent open tickets per user.

Visual Panel Builder

The “Configure Panel” button opens an interactive visual layout editor (up to 25 blocks). Available elements: Button and dropdown actions:
  • “Open Form (Modal)” — users complete a modal questionnaire before ticket creation (up to 5 fields: text input, role selector, user selector);
  • “Create Ticket Directly” — channel generates instantly;
  • Navigate to Sub-Panel — multi-step branching menus;
  • External Link URL.
Additionally, customize open/close/DM messages, panel embed colors, banners, block reordering, and live preview.
Tip: Build a main panel with a category select menu (“General Inquiry”, “Complaint”, “Application”) and link a tailored form to each choice — ensuring incoming tickets contain all required information upfront.
