Setting Up the Ticket System
What is This?
A user support system: users create private ticket channels by clicking buttons on interactive panels, and staff handle inquiries. Ideal for complaints, leadership questions, recruitment, and private correspondence. Tickets feature:- Support Roles — users who can see and respond within tickets;
- Transcripts — upon closure, the bot saves chat logs (HTML export or video) into designated log channels;
- Visual Panel Builder — build modular ticket panels with zero code directly in Discord.
How to Configure
- Open
/configure→ navigate to the “Ticket Settings” page. - Enable the module: set status menu to “Enabled”.
- Click “Go to Setup”.
Roles and Access
The “Ticket Permissions and Access Settings” page provides four role selector menus:- “Ticket Config Roles” — who can modify ticket settings;
- “Ticket Creation Roles” — who can open tickets;
- “Staff Roles” — who provides support and handles tickets;
- “Claim Roles” — who can claim tickets into active handling.
Channels and Categories
The “Channel and Category Settings” page:- Transcript Log Channel — destination for HTML export files upon ticket close;
- Video Transcript Channel — destination for video transcript recordings;
- Ticket Category — Discord category where newly opened ticket channels will be created.
Ticket Panels
The “Ticket Panels” page:- “Configure Panel List” — create panels (name + Discord category), up to 25 panels;
- each panel supports customized parameters: support roles, post-claim roles, ping roles;
- “Configure Ticket Limit” — limit concurrent open tickets per user.
Visual Panel Builder
The “Configure Panel” button opens an interactive visual layout editor (up to 25 blocks). Available elements:
Button and dropdown actions:
- “Open Form (Modal)” — users complete a modal questionnaire before ticket creation (up to 5 fields: text input, role selector, user selector);
- “Create Ticket Directly” — channel generates instantly;
- Navigate to Sub-Panel — multi-step branching menus;
- External Link URL.
Tip: Build a main panel with a category select menu (“General Inquiry”, “Complaint”, “Application”) and link a tailored form to each choice — ensuring incoming tickets contain all required information upfront.
