Setting Up Reduced Activity
What is This?
The reduced activity application module. This status is designed for employees who temporarily cannot fulfill standard quota requirements (exams, workload, personal events) but wish to remain active in the faction. Key differences between reduced activity and leaves:- The employee can continue working shifts;
- Their hour quota is automatically reduced by 50% — in activity reports, such staff are clearly marked;
- The reduced activity role is assigned and removed automatically upon expiration, identical to leaves.
How to Configure
- Open
/configure→ navigate to the “Reduced Activity Settings” page. - Configure three settings:
- Request Intake Status — “Enabled” or “Disabled”;
- RA Request Channel — text channel where request cards appear;
- RA Roles — up to 25 roles assigned to approved staff (e.g.
Reduced Activity).
User Experience
For Employees
/ra submit— duration (1–90 days) and reason.- While a request is active or awaiting review, a new one cannot be submitted.
- Upon approval, the role is assigned and automatically removed when expired; status updates are delivered via DM.
For Leadership
Requests arrive in the designated channel with applicant context and action buttons:- “Approve” — grants reduced activity status;
- “Deny” — rejects with a mandatory reason.
/ra list— list active reduced activity statuses;/ra view @employee— request history for a specific employee;/ra admin @employee— grant manually, extend, end early, or delete records.
In the
/shift activity report, staff on reduced activity are evaluated against a halved quota with an indicator, preventing unwarranted disciplinary actions for reduced hours.
