RP Terms

RDM — Random Death Match

  • Definition: Killing one to three players without a significant RP reason (shooting or killing in an unnecessary situation).
  • Example: Shooting a random unarmed pedestrian.

MRDM — Mass Random Death Match

  • Definition: When a player shoots or kills four players at once without a significant RP reason within a short period of time.
  • Example: Shooting at four civilians simultaneously without reason.

MSRDM — Mass Staff Random Death Match

  • Definition: When a player shoots or kills five or more staff members at once without a significant RP reason within a short period of time.
  • Example: Shooting at five staff members simultaneously without reason.

SRDM — Staff Random Death Match

  • Definition: When a player shoots or kills a staff member without reason (from one to three staff members).
  • Example: Shooting a staff member with a Kalashnikov rifle without reason.

MVDM — Mass Vehicle Death Match

  • Definition: When a player unnecessarily damages multiple vehicles (four or more) within a short period of time without roleplaying the situation within RP.
  • Example: Shooting at multiple cars or intentionally causing a mass collision.

MSVDM — Mass Staff Vehicle Death Match

  • Definition: When a player intentionally damages multiple staff vehicles (four or more) within a short period of time.
  • Example: Shooting at staff service vehicles or intentionally colliding with them.

VDM — Vehicle Death Match

  • Definition: It is prohibited to damage a player’s vehicle without a significant RP reason (damaging a vehicle without reason or outside the framework of roleplay).
  • Example: Shooting at a car near a service station without reason.

SVDM — Staff Vehicle Death Match

  • Definition: It is prohibited to damage a staff member’s vehicle (damaging a staff member’s vehicle without reason, even if there is a pretext).
  • Example: Shooting at a staff vehicle without reason.

LTAP — Leaving To Avoid Punishment

  • Definition: When a player leaves the game to avoid punishment from the administration.
  • Example: Leaving the game after a moderator warned about a possible kick, but before the actual kick.

FRP — Fear RolePlay

  • Definition: When a player does not roleplay fear for their life in an obviously dangerous situation.
  • Example: One criminal runs away from three armed police officers who are aiming at them and giving commands, but they do not react to it.

RTAP — Rejoining To Avoid Punishment

  • Definition: When a player returns to the server immediately after leaving to avoid an assigned punishment (e.g., not observing the waiting time after a kick).
  • Example: Returning to the server after a kick, even though they should have waited for a certain period.

RsTAP — Respawning To Avoid Punishment

  • Definition: When a player respawns their character to avoid punishment or a proceeding from the administration.
  • Example: Respawning their character after a moderator asks them to stay in place.

LTAA — Leaving To Avoid Arrest

  • Definition: When a player leaves the game to avoid arrest.
  • Example: An officer used a taser, and the player immediately left the game.

RTAA — Rejoining To Avoid Arrest

  • Definition: When a player leaves the game to avoid arrest and then immediately returns.
  • Example: An officer used a taser, the player leaves and rejoins.

RsTAA — Respawning To Avoid Arrest

  • Definition: When a player respawns their character to avoid arrest during a pursuit or detention.
  • Example: A player pursued by an officer instantly respawns when the police officer approaches.

LTAMS — Leaving To Avoid Moderator Scene

  • Definition: When a player leaves the game to avoid a proceeding with a moderator.
  • Example: A player leaves the server as soon as a moderator starts a dialogue after suspecting a violation.

RTAMS — Rejoining To Avoid Moderator Scene

  • Definition: When a player leaves the game when a moderator appears and then returns to avoid a proceeding.
  • Example: A player leaves the server when a moderator starts writing and returns later.

RsTAMS — Respawning To Avoid Moderator Scene

  • Definition: When a player respawns their character to avoid an encounter with a moderator.
  • Example: A player instantly respawns their character when a moderator starts a conversation with them.

NLR — New Life Rule

  • Definition: A player must not continue their old life, use old knowledge, or seek revenge after death or respawn.
  • Example: Was killed, then respawned and immediately returned to the death location, using knowledge from their previous life.
  • Clarifications:
    • After death, you must forget your killer and all circumstances of death, but retain memory of your home, friends, and duties.
    • You may return to the death location after 3 minutes. If an active event is still taking place where you died (e.g., a raid, robbery), you cannot return there even after 3 minutes have passed.

MR — Medical Rushing

  • Definition: When medical service employees perform their duties too quickly without roleplaying the process (violating RP logic when providing assistance).
  • Example: Picked up a player and put them in an ambulance without roleplaying first aid, when there was no need for immediate evacuation.

FTC — Failure To Comply

  • Definition: Refusal to comply with administration or server rules.
  • Example: Refused to change vehicles after a moderator’s instruction or did not comply with a lawful RP character (police officer) request.

Metagaming

  • Definition: Using information obtained outside the character’s framework (e.g., from Discord, Twitch, OOC chat) to gain an advantage in the game.
  • Example: After a new life, a player starts using information the character did not have, or uses information from a Discord voice chat to locate an enemy.

Powergaming

  • Definition: Attributing unrealistic or impossible abilities to one’s character, as well as lack of roleplay that deprives other players of the opportunity to react (e.g., roleplaying an action that leaves no chance for the opponent).
  • Example: Kicked a player in the head — the player lost consciousness, without giving the second player a chance to roleplay dodging or resistance.

FRP — Fail(ed) Roleplay

  • Definition: Illogical, non-roleplay, or fun-seeking behavior, which also includes leaving the game or going AFK during important situations for personal gain. Violation of roleplay when a player’s actions interrupt or distort an RP scene.
  • Example: Bursts into an RP scenario location and attacks others without reason.
  • 1.1 — Violation of roleplay atmosphere
    • Actions aimed at making a situation as unserious as possible (FunGame) are a NonRP violation.
    • Chat messages may only be written in Russian, but the use of individual phrases and words in other languages is permitted.
    • Any RP action roleplay in voice chat is only performed if all RP situation participants have voice chat, and if the player performing the roleplay is recording video.
  • 1.2 — Playing in your own favor
    • During roleplay interaction, you cannot roleplay only in your own favor. All roleplay must adhere to logic. The goal of the game is not to win, but to participate!
    • Playing in your own favor also includes reacting to roleplay that the character could not have noticed (e.g., roleplaying dodging an invisible action).
  • 1.3 — Large-scale RP roleplay
    • All large RP events not regulated by rules (e.g., hospital takeover / other buildings) must be coordinated with administration senior to Internal Affairs before being conducted.
    • Note: A one-person hostage situation is not considered a large-scale RP situation but requires coordination with any on-duty staff member.
  • 1.4 — Provocation
    • It is prohibited to intentionally provoke players (particularly government employees) into conflict, including through intentional disclosure or reporting of one’s illegal activities.
    • Note: Minor hooliganism will not be considered intentional provocation if it is not done with the aim of escalating the victim into a larger conflict.

Roblox TOS — Roblox Terms of Service

TOS (Terms of Service) is a set of mandatory rules that regulate player behavior on the Roblox platform and on our Moscow RolePlay server. Violating TOS may result in a warning, account suspension, or a server ban.

Main Provisions of Roblox TOS

  • Prohibited by Roblox TOS and on our server:
    • Profanity, obscene language, insults, and harassment
      • It is prohibited to use any form of profanity, swear words, as well as to demean, insult, or harass other players.

    • Pornography, NSFW, and sexual content
      • Any images, discussions, hints, and sexual roleplay, as well as NSFW content (Not Safe For Work), are strictly prohibited.

    • Discrimination and hate speech
    • Fraud, deception, phishing, and hacking
      • Any methods of deceiving players, phishing, distributing malicious links, or attempts to hack other accounts are prohibited.

    • Discussion or distribution of prohibited programs, cheats, exploits
      • The use and distribution of cheats, exploits, hacked clients, as well as discussion of such topics, is strictly prohibited.
    • Calls for violence, threats, depiction or endorsement of harmful actions
      • Any threats, calls for real violence, or discussion of real harm are prohibited.

    • Discussion or depiction of drugs, alcohol, tobacco
      • Promoting or demonstrating the use of prohibited substances is prohibited.
    • Spam, flooding, advertising other projects
      • Spam, mass sending of identical messages, as well as advertising third-party servers, products, or services without administration permission.

    • Any other actions that violate Roblox and Discord rules
  • Punishments
    • For violating any TOS item, a player may receive:
      • A temporary or permanent ban on Moscow RolePlay
      • A report to Roblox support, which may result in a full account suspension
